The Island on the Chain RV Park was originally developed in 1980 by Bob and Liz Knourek.
Their personal experience and years camping with 7 children gave them the advantage of knowing what families needed and wanted in a seasonal campground.
Today, the Island is still family owned and operated by Scott Segel, Vicki Knourek-Segel, and Sons and we are on site carefully preserving the same culture and model that has made us unique and separate from every park on the Chan O’ Lakes.
